Purpose
The purpose of this AUP is to ensure the integrity, security, and reliability of Diliko’s Service, including any third-party services integrated into the platform. This policy outlines prohibited actions and sets expectations for users to promote a safe and responsible environment.
Scope
This AUP applies to all users accessing Diliko’s Service, including but not limited to employees, contractors, clients, and partners. It also includes any usage of third-party services, such as Snowflake, accessed through Diliko’s platform.
Acceptable Use
Users are permitted to use the Service for lawful purposes related to data management, governance, compliance, and any activities expressly authorized by Diliko. Acceptable uses include:
Accessing, storing, and managing data in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
Using the Service for data analytics, processing, and governance in a manner consistent with the authorized features and functionalities of the platform.
Engaging in activities that align with Diliko’s terms of service, privacy policy, and contractual agreements.
Prohibited Uses
Users may not use the Service to engage in any of the following activities:
Illegal Activities: Engaging in activities that are unlawful, including but not limited to fraud, theft, or violations of intellectual property rights.
Harmful or Abusive Behavior: Transmitting or storing any content that is offensive, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful to individuals or entities.
Security Violations: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, accounts, or systems of other users, or engaging in activities that could harm the Service or its users, such as introducing malware or other malicious code.
Data Misuse: Unauthorized collection, distribution, or use of data, including personal, proprietary, or confidential information, in a manner that violates data protection laws or infringes on privacy rights.
Resource Abuse: Excessive use of the Service in a way that negatively impacts the performance or availability of the Service for other users, such as engaging in activities that place undue strain on Diliko’s infrastructure.
Impersonation and Misrepresentation: Impersonating another person or entity, or falsely representing an affiliation with any individual or entity.
Third-Party Service Compliance
As part of Diliko’s platform, users may access services provided by third-party vendors, including but not limited to Snowflake. By using Diliko’s platform, users agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms of service and acceptable use policies, including Snowflake’s Acceptable Use Policy, available at [insert link to Snowflake’s AUP]. Users are responsible for understanding and adhering to these additional requirements when accessing Snowflake services through Diliko’s platform.
Consequences of Violations
Violations of this AUP, including any third-party service provider’s terms, may result in actions including, but not limited to:
Temporary or permanent suspension of access to the Service.
Termination of user accounts and any associated agreements.
Legal action as deemed necessary by Diliko to enforce compliance or to seek remedies for violations.
Diliko reserves the right to take additional actions as necessary to comply with third-party provider requirements, including immediate suspension or termination of access to the Service for violations of Snowflake’s or any other third-party provider’s terms.
Monitoring and Enforcement
Diliko reserves the right to monitor user activity on the Service to ensure compliance with this AUP and any third-party requirements. Any suspected violations will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken based on the findings.
Amendments and Third-Party Modifications
Diliko may modify this AUP to reflect updates from third-party providers, including Snowflake. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
